Taiwan Tai Chung Trip - 台中之旅

Weekend!!! Whoraeeee~~~ 

Weekend = Hang Out days XD

The very first Weekend, we go Tai Chung (The Middle of Taiwan)

Took bus from Chung Cheng University to TaiChung, NST 130.

3 Malaysian and 1 French Trip ~ Tehee

The Three Malaysians:

After arrive Tai Chung, we just walk around Tai Chung Railway Station.

And Unexpectedly, we see a super long queue for ICE-CREAM! Omg... Ice cream only lor, is this necessary? So Long Queue~

This is the Famous Shop lar - 宫原眼科 冰淇泠

A variety of Ice Cream Choices. Special Chocolate favour, Tea, and many more~~~

They offer 1, 2 or 3 scoops or Family package.  

The Ice Creams in the Refrigerator~ Looks Yummy especially under the Big Hot Sun! haha

That's it! 2 Scoops and Free 3 extra items <We have banana (because I Love Minions), Cheese Cake and Pineapple cake>. Looks very tasty right? haha... Actually it tastes Good and we enjoy the chill of the Ice-Cream. haha

Just beside the Ice-Cream shop, there is another Shop under the same company. It sells traditional cakes, biscuit, chocolate and etc. The design inside is awesome and beautiful~ So we just go in and walk around. Haha. I believe the shops cooperate well with Travel Agents and that's why many tourists visits there. Good tactic! haha

They use Woods as book and create the Old-school feel. They sell Wife cake, chocolate biscuits and others.

Then Finally Sylvain joins us and gives us a ride to 

Rainbow Village （彩虹眷村）

Many people not recommend me to go there, but since we are in Tai Chung, Let's go and have a look on the famous tourist spot ba~ It is a mini village painted with all kinds of colours. Adorable and colourful wonder land.

There is a small stall selling some souvenirs. The uncle inside the photo below is the Rainbow Uncle who paints the whole village. wao. hehe

We spent around 15 minutes I think, bye bye rainbow village. It is raining liao~ ;p

Next Stop, we visit a temple（天后宫）. It is gigantic. haha...

After the temple, we still have a lot of time, so we choose to visit the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts. ^^ The views there are relaxing, Nice building and welcoming greenery. It is freeeeee entrance. yeah~

There are a lot of exhibitions inside the museum, Not open for Photos hehe. It is a nice place to walk around lar. Artistic yet enjoyable.

After that, it is time to check in Homestay in Tai Chung or 台中民宿

Thanks God I manage to book a homestay one day before our trip since Summer is a hot season to travel in Taiwan.

Next station: 逢甲夜市 （FengJia Night Market）

Full of Foods and Shops. There are cheap cloths, shoes and many more. Food are countless there too. haha. This is definitely a Must-Go-Places in Tai Chung. Yeah~

And I cannot help myself from buying 2 shirts at NST 350 only. haha... oops, over budget liao XD

It is time to sleep and I call it a day~

The Second day (Sunday)

Sunday- we must go Church right? haha

So we choose the most beautiful Church in Tai Chung - 

Tung Hai University Christian Church

How to Go Tung Hai University Christian Church?

Take bus and Just Stop at 荣縂站. Many buses will go there de o. I took Bus number 88.

The main entrance is just opposite of A Hospital and it looks like this:

(After entering the University, just walk straight to the Church. hehe) 

Ok, After the majestic church, it is time for lunch and shopping~ 

We go 一中商圈 (Yi Zhong Street)

There is another shopping heaven, Chia-Wen and Dannee love there. haha

A huge and crowded place. Everyone loves there. haha.

While I go Da Keng Scenery Area （大坑风景区） 

I took bus to there but it seems not so suitable as it is going to rain soon. So it is better to have vehicle to go there ya. Never mind I have tried some special food there. 仙草芋圆. There is a long queue as well, that's why I eat. haha. Taste OKOK only. ;p

Who knows, the most famous one is at the end of the street. I just discover it after I brought the Big Cup of 仙草。haha. But my friend said it is not tasty also. XD

Tactic with travel agents again. haha

I come back and join Dannee them in Mcd. Mcd is still the cheapest in Malaysia. Wakaka.

After dinner, before going back, we saw a Fantastic Rainbow! haha. So Obvious one. hehe

I also brought the famous "Sun Biscuit Cake"/太阳饼 back to Lab for my colleagues lar. hehe

The End of our trip. Have to plan for the next already. haha... Must Finish all the places in Taiwan. Feeling Determined. hehe. Just the money problem. oops. Ok la. Back to work liao~~~ 

My Internship in AIM-HI, Chung Cheng University

Yeah~ My Summer internship in Taiwan has started.

I am interning in AIM-HI in Chung Cheng University (can refer the previous blog post - click here)

This time I am in Chia-Yi （嘉宜）, or more specifically Min-Hsiung Area（民雄）. Here is a country site far far away from the Happening Taipei City. So, Only weekend only can Go Hiao in other towns lor ;p

Let's share a little bit of this University. It is really huge and beautiful of course. Chung Cheng University is voted as the most beautiful university in Taiwan (Online Voting)

Hostel is ... not ... so ... good ... Expensive and not clean.(We still have to pay water and electric bill) X.X

OK, here is my working place.

Chemical Engineering Department Building

My job is a Research Intern (Carrying out Experiments and etc). Research title given is "Esterification of Cellulose" (So far, I am just helping ;p)

More specific, I work in here

Precision Coordination Polymerisation Materials Laboratory

I am still in learning stage, so not much tension on my shoulder yet hehe. Life is quite "Easy" here^^

The best part is the People (Colleagues) here. Most of them are Master and phD students. Friendly and kind Taiwanese. Very like them! haha

 I always trouble BerBer or Happy（孟泽哥）to fetch me to the lab by motorcycle. I feel like I am half a Taiwanese now. Wakaka Glad to work with them ^^ Thanks God~ Yeppie ;p

Travelling abroad will make me feel proud to be a Malaysian. Including this time. Our language talent is really impressive. Chinese,Malay,English,Hokkien and Cantonese. yeah~~~ So, I am totally suitable to stay in Taiwan. ;p My Mandarin Slang is getting closed to Taiwanese's one. oops ~ (high pitch neh~~~)

Just this internship lacks of industrial thingy, but whatever, I can have it after graduation. haha (Self-comforting) 

Yes, still 9 weeks to go, a lot of places to explore, Tai Chung, Tai Nan, Ali San, Ken Ding, HuaLien and others. But, Financial problem leh, who want to sponsor me? @@ So wish to take part-time job to earn more. haha

Taiwan Internship - Purely God's Blessing

INTERNSHIP

This is really a headache thingy and "Entangle" me for a long time~

I can say, I am one of the Earliest to find Internship, But

I am one of the Last to secure a placement

This is a long long long story @@

(Full of obstacles and miracles)

My inner heart tells me this :

After Graduation, You will be in Malaysia already, So Intern in the oversea lar~ Ok? I don't wanna get trapped in Malaysia lor~

So I start to apply International Summer Internship

From German to UK, From UK to US

All ... Failed... 

Because I am too ambitious? or my quality is far weaker than the others? 

After some time, I discover that, 10 weeks are too short and not worthy to spend so much on an intern. This is so true~ T.T

So I started to find neighbor countries and local one. (Give Up Xp)

(Unmotivated and ... Not Aggressive at all)

One day, One breakfast,

I hear a testimony from Miss Siau Hui,

She got a Singapore Internship after calling up to 30 companies.

I am impressed and Will this Work? 

Then there is my another motivation. 

I called around 40 Singapore Chemical Engineering Companies~

At the End, only 5 will check with their HR. (Then no more news~~~)

Ok, why I said it is a PURE God's Blessing?

A Call~ Offering me a TAIWAN internship - Out of Expectation!

God really listens to my Prayer~~~ T.T

The Appreciation(感恩) is beyond my words!!!

The Most Touching part is ~ They accept a Chemical Engineering Student T.T

Because the program is mainly for Mechanical and Manufacturing Students.
(All rejected, so only I got the chance ba)

(Yeah, going Chia-Yi, Southern part of Taiwan - Didn't explore much last time- It is VERY away from the happening Taipei City ~ haha. And the institute is located far away from Chia-Yi Town too. T.T)

This internship makes me Suffer for few days. I have to trouble a lot of people for the approval~ I seriously discourage CE juniors to go Research Internship next time. Who asks us to take CE course. Sienz... (for Details, can PM me, I will explain privately) 

Due to the last batch, the allowance I received is really limited.

But, I should appreciate and not to be greedy ;p

I have just done my Second Paper of my Third Year Second Semester.

It is over, I should Feel Happy. 

But this paper impacts me a lot and gives me thousands of thoughts.

My dream ~ 

I dream that I can put 100% effort to Fight for a better pointer. 

I dream I can graduate with a medal.

I dream my hard work can help to achieve the dream.

But... 

The dream seems to be getting further and further from me~ 

During the test, a thought pop out in my mind. 

"Is your dream the best for you?"

"You can get whatever you wish in the future with that awesome First Class?"

"Yeah I should give my life onto God's hands, He decides the best for me. Perhaps, the honour is not the best for me, He will lead my way"

During the exam, the tension and Don't-know-What-to-do-feeling, make me relieved from my struggles and I tell myself,

"Just Do your best, Finish whatever you can. God have His own way for you."

Yeah~ I did whatever I can although I have also done an unforgivable mistake XD 

Just leave it to God and Leave my life to Him.

Have faith in HIM.
